Hey everyone. Here is some information about the Item Drive we are having with Children's Hospital of Oakland. Oh yes, by the way, we are not going to be accepting toys that are manufactured by the brand of Mattel because of the toy recall that occured a few months ago.

Here is a link for more information.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
Your donations of toys and supplies help supplement the activities and entertainment we provide the patients of Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland. While our patients range in age from newborns to teens, we especially need items for teens and babies.
Please read our instructions below for scheduling your donation delivery, special holiday information and a list of items that we cannot accept.
We’ve also created lists of things we always need and unusual items we especially appreciate.
Thank you for thinking of the patients at Children's Hospital.

Scheduling donation delivery
To schedule your donation delivery in advance, please call the Volunteer Office at (510) 428-3471, Ext. 2. Please be prepared to carry your donations to our sorting area. We'll provide a cart and will escort you. All donations must be brand new and in their original packaging or with the original tags on.

Special holiday information
Please deliver holiday donations by the first week of December so they'll be ready in time for holiday parties. Please leave toys unwrapped and in their original packaging.
