Hey GUYS!!!!!

Today's PAINT OUR TOWN (SCHOOL) PURPLE to went a little more than FANTABULOUS! Despite not being able to put up any p.a annoucements because of the A.P testing, a lot of people wore purple today to raise awareness. Just in case you live in a hole and didn't know why we were wearing purple today.. It's because we want to raise awareness of all the different cancers. Yes, we know that some people have cancers and that its been around for ages. But do you really realize how many people are affected? 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women! But thats not all. The ones who get diagnosed with lung cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, or skin cancer are not the ONLY ones who are affected. All of their friends, families, cousins, teachers, and co-workers are affected as well. Knowing someone with cancer isn't the easiest thing to handle. That's why by our school wearing purple today, we're coming together to show our support to those who are battling the disease, remembering those who lost their battle, and celebrating those who've overcome it! Remember, we might not have the chemical equation to find the cure, but just knowing the facts and precautions of cancer.. we're saving lives. I truly believe in this, and i hope you do to! So I thank each and every one of you who decided to wear purple 8]
